This medicine is used for bacterial vaginal infection, stomatitis (mouth ulcers) and gingivitis (inflamed gums).

How to use

For bacterial vaginal infection, insert gauze soaked in the solution into the vagina and press the area with light pressure for 1–3 minutes. Use twice, 3–4 days apart. For stomatitis and gingivitis, apply repeatedly with a cotton swab soaked in this medicine.

Before you use it

Do not use this medicine if you are hypersensitive to it. Before using it, consult a doctor or pharmacist if you are pregnant, possibly pregnant, or breastfeeding. Take care, as this medicine can weaken latex and rubber products such as condoms and diaphragms. Do not use during menstruation. Do not have intercourse or wash with harsh soap during treatment. If you miss a dose, do not make it up — simply apply the next dose as scheduled. For topical use only. Avoid contact with the eyes; if it gets in the eyes, rinse immediately with clean water. After applying it to the oral mucosa or gums, rinse your mouth thoroughly.

Do not use together with other topical preparations.

Possible side effects

If local irritation, an allergic reaction, or damage to tooth enamel occurs, stop using it immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist.

Storage

Store at room temperature, away from light. Keep out of reach of children. Keep any applicators used with this medicine in a container of water (with 1–2% sodium bicarbonate added if appropriate) immediately after use until they are disinfected.
