Warning
Applied directly to the brain, spinal cord, ear or other auditory or central nervous tissue, it can cause hearing loss or nerve damage.
Full approved wording
Used for wounds at risk of infection (grazes, cuts, tears, burns, dermatitis), leg ulcers, bedsores, secondarily infected eczema, skin infections such as lichen simplex chronicus (neurodermatitis), cracked nipples during breastfeeding, and minor surgery (skin damage, surgical wounds).
How to use
Clean the wound or infected area, then apply a thin layer as often as needed during the day. It can be covered with a dressing or left uncovered.
Before you use it
Do not use this medicine if you are hypersensitive to it or have been in the past, or if you have a perforated eardrum. Before using it, consult a doctor or pharmacist if you have had asthma or other allergies, if you are pregnant or may be pregnant or are breastfeeding, and especially before using it around the vulva shortly before childbirth. Do not use it on irritated skin with no particular risk of infection (for example sunburn), on the mucous membranes of the vagina, bladder or mouth, or in the eyes. Keep to the stated dosage and directions. Children should use it under the supervision of a guardian.
Do not use with
Do not use this medicine together with other disinfectants or antiseptics. Do not combine it with surfactants or other anionic substances.
Possible side effects
Stop using this medicine immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist if you experience a burning sensation or an allergic skin reaction, which occur rarely.
Storage
Store at room temperature below 25°C.
