These terms cover k-pick, a site for visitors to Korea. Using the site means you accept them. If you do not, please stop using it.

What k-pick is

We show what is on the shelf in Korean shops, and which salons and clinics foreign visitors have reviewed. We sell nothing and take no bookings. We are not an agent for any shop, salon or clinic listed here, and none of them pays us to appear.

Where the information comes from

Product details come from shop listings and public records; what each ingredient does comes from the Korean Cosmetic Association dictionary. Ratings come from Google reviews, counted by the language each review was written in — Korean-language reviews are not included, because the lists are ordered for visitors reading in their own language.

Prices, opening hours and stock change without notice, and a shop can take an item off the shelf at any time. Check anything that matters before you go.

Not medical advice

Listing a clinic, or placing it high in a list, is not a recommendation to visit it — the order only reflects how many reviews were left in a language. Nothing here is medical advice. Talk to a doctor or a pharmacist about anything to do with your health, and read the warnings that come with any medicine you buy.

Your account

Signing in is optional and exists so your list survives a lost phone. Keep your Google account secure; anything done while signed in is treated as done by you. You can delete your account at any time in Settings.

What you write in Talk

Posts and comments are public and appear under your nickname. Write what you would say to another traveller. Please do not post any of the following.

Three reports hide a post or a comment straight away. It is hidden, not deleted, so it can be looked at and put back if the reports were wrong. We can also hide anything that breaks the rules above, and close an account that keeps doing it. A post is up to 2,000 characters and a comment up to 1,000.

You keep what you write. By posting it you let us show it on the site and keep the hidden copy described in the Privacy Policy.

What we do not promise

We give the site as it is. We do not promise it will always be available, or that every detail is current or correct — much of it comes from other people and changes without us knowing. Decisions you make from what you read here, including which shop or clinic to visit, are your own. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Korean law that cannot be limited.

Changes

If these terms change we will update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
